Uniforms Print E-mail

Uniform articles (such as shirts, pants, dresses, and gowns) and accessories (such as jewelry) may be issued to each member. These articles and accessories are the property of the organization and must be returned upon request or at the end of the season.

GCSF shirts are no longer included part of tuition. If your chorister has a clean, fitting shirt of the proper style and color from a previous season, she may wear it again this season. Choristers who do not have a shirt may order one at the time of registration. GCSF shirt styles and colors vary by choir:

Primes Choir                                                                  Pink t-shirt

Apprentice Choir                                                        Light blue t-shirt

Concert Choir and Chamber Singers                              Lavender t-shirt and white polo shirt

A chorister may be required to provide one or more articles (such as jeans) or accessories (such as shoes) to complete the uniform. Additional uniform items may be required to be purchased throughout the concert season. All articles and accessories provided by the member are the property of the member.

A chorister who is issued a uniform assumes responsibility for cleaning and care of the uniform. A chorister who does not return a uniform or returns it in a dirty or damaged condition will be responsible for the cost of cleaning, repairing and/or replacing the uniform.

A chorister may not participate in a dress rehearsal or performance without a clean, presentable, and fitting uniform. Choristers are responsible for ensuring that the uniform assigned to them fits properly and to have it tailored to appropriate choir standards if it does not. It is the responsibility of the chorister to notify the organization in advance of an event if an issued uniform no longer fits.

Please consider donating to the Girl Choir any uniform shoes and shirts that no longer fit. We will make donated items available to choristers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
